Adopted – The Adoption Issue of Gentiles

6.11.21 The adoption issue of Gentiles into the Jewish line and receiving the blessings of Abraham has plagued me for DECADES. Do I REALLY get the blessings of Abraham? How? I get I am adopted, but somehow I didn’t get ‘it’.

So I was looking up some scripture and saw something. I started investigating the genealogy of Jesus, the kings, who was a good or bad king and so on. The below is what I have discovered.

Oh, GOD IS GOOD! He is SO faithful to explain to me!!!

The * means He was a good king.

Saul was the first king in Israel.

*David first GOOD King OF Israel [‘of’ means something, not sure what. will figure out someday]

*He was the father of Solomon, who was good

Who was the father of Rehoboam, who was bad

Who was the father of Abijah, who was bad.

*Who was the father of Asa, who was good

*Who was the father of Jehosphahat, who was good

Jehosophat was the father of Jehoram who was a BAD king

Jehoram was the father of Uzziah who was a BAD king

*Uzziah father of Jotham, who was good

Jotham was father of Ahaz who was bad [wonder if this is where the sins of the generations started passing down?]

*Ahaz was father to Hezekiah, who was super good King.

Was father of Manasseh, who was a super bad king

Manasseh was father of Amon, BAD King

*Amon father of Josiah, GOOD King

Josiah was the father of JehoiaKIM, bad,

He was father of JehoiahCHIN, bad king, reigned 3 months,

THEN

Good good, bad bad, Good good, bad bad, Good, bad, Good, bad bad, Good, bad bad. It flips around, Starts off good good, ends with bad bad. Starts with 2 goods, 2 bads, then ends with 1 good and 2 bads. Deeper than I wanna go. [[which is also the problem with a lot of Christians, they don’t delve into the deeper things of God. That is NOT my problem obviously]] *rabbit trails are what keeps life interesting*

BECAUSE THE FATHER OF JESUS IS GOD, WHEN JOSEPH MARRIED MARY, HER CHILD WAS IMMEDIATELY ADOPTED AS JOSEPH’S, WHICH PUT HIM IN DAVID’S LINEAGE. 

WE Gentiles who believe in Jesus, are ALSO ADOPTED and ALSO inherit the SAME blessings as those in the Abrahamic covenant. JESUS WAS ADOPTED! This doesn’t mean anything nefarious, don’t read into it.
